Social Service Merchandise is a situation, like a franchise, that explores identity and desire through familiar consumer interaction.
A store catalog itemizes things found locally- like buildings, specific foods, historical sites, local celebrities, sports teams, ect.
Art-goers use this catalogue and an order form to place an order describing an idea of local culture or their own passions.
At the Point-of-Sale kiosk art-goers can purchase their idea in the form of a store receipt. The art-goer keeps the receipt and the store catalog.
